  Long queue for the tea room downstairs. I had wanted to book but didn't as it was £32 each and we only really wanted some tea, a sandwich and cake or scone. In the end we sat upstairs which was really nice, no queue and got served pretty quickly. We got a table right next to the huge picture windows and watched most of Yorkshire walk past outside. I had an open smoked salmon sandwich and Colin had soup of the day and a scone, so we pretty much got what we wanted after all. Food and pot of tea was all fresh and tasty and when they found out it was my birthday the staff brought a small cake with a candle which was a nice touch
